Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy
Occupational Therapy provides treatment that can include
adaptive equipment and ADL techniques, neuro-developmental
techniques, energy conservation, work simplification, pacing,
range of motion, strengthening, splinting, home modification,
functional mobility, cognitive training, visual perception,
etc.
Physical Therapy provides treatment for the consequences
of disease or injury by addressing impairments, functional
limitations, and/or disabilities. The objective of physical
therapy is to educate and increase the patient's ability
to function.
